RecipeWrite collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics and no server — the app contains no network code at all.
Every recipe, photo, note, collection and shopping list you create is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. None of it is sent anywhere. There is no sign-in, because there is nothing to sign in to.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. Export everything at any time from Settings — as JSON, PDF or plain text. Export is free and is never behind a purchase.
The App Store privacy label for RecipeWrite reads Data Not Collected, and that is accurate rather than aspirational.
The one-time purchase that removes the recipe limit is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your name, email address or payment details — only whether a purchase exists on your device.
If you add a photo, the app asks permission to use your camera or photo library at that moment. Photos you choose are copied into the app's own storage on your device and go nowhere else.
Dictation uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Your voice is not sent to us or to any server.
RecipeWrite is not directed at children and collects no information from anyone, of any age.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, material changes are unlikely.
